About us

We're Claire and Maggie Hazelwood, sisters, and the two people who actually run this shop.

We started The Hazelwood Sisters because we were tired of the same thing a lot of people are tired of: clothes that look fine in a photo and then fall apart, or fade, or just don't fit into a real life. So we do it differently. We look for fabric that holds up, cuts that still make sense in five years, and colors that actually work with everything else already in your closet.

Nothing goes on our shelves unless one of us would wear it ourselves. That's the whole standard, and we don't make exceptions for it.

We're based in Malibu, California, and we pack and ship every order ourselves. If you ever reach out with a question, you're talking directly to one of us, not a call center.
